Unmanned Level Crossing Policy

Accordingly to the Railways Act 1890 under section 124/a, which states that “if a person Knowing or having reason to believe that an engine or train is approaching along Railway, opens any gate set up on eider side of Railway across a road, or passes or attempts to pass, or driver or takes or attempts to drive or take any animal, vehicle or other thing across the Railways" the person shell be punished (imprisonment for a term which may extend to six months, or with fine which may extend to five thousand rupees, or both)
